High in the central Peloponnesus is the traditional village of Dimitsana. It gives a flavor of what life was like in rural Greece a long time ago.

Narrow streets and traditional tavernas in a hillside setting are attractive. We had lunch there. I elected to sample the deer and some hot raki.

Nearby is the water power museum that gives you an insight into production techniques before the age of electricity and gasoline power.
