Two elections in 2012 brought a 3-party coalition government, led by New Democracy, to power. This replaced a caretaker administration that approved the first round of the austerity program.
Greek Foreign Policy
Greek foreign policy has been dominated by fending off Turkey; however in recent years the country has been more directed to European integration and becoming a leader in the Balkans.
