The harbor adjacent, and down the hill from Chora is also known as Pera Gialos.

Also located here are a number of services such as gas stations, pharmacies, the clinic and the high school.

While not the formal harbor any longer it is still in use for ferries and small boats.

From across the bay, looking back.

Small boats dock.

Some commercial ferries do use the place.

Groups of doctors and medical staff travel from island to island by speedboat to provide specialist care to places that only have GP's.

Sign on a pharmacy. They take turns being open 24/7.

The junior and senior high school is on the north side and up the slope.

The clinic, ambulances to the left.

One of, I was told, two gas stations on the island.

Paths in Greece cities always invite me to explore.
